For almost 60 years, the Middlesex
Concert Band has been contributing to the rich cultural life
of the Greater Boston area. The repertoire includes traditional
and contemporary wind ensemble music, marches, big band sounds,
folk tunes and music from Broadway and Hollywood.
The Middlesex Concert Band has been chartered
to provide an enjoyable listening experience, while helping
to educate members of the band and the audience with exposure
to a broad variety of music.

Any local musician with a wind band instrument
(woodwind, brass, or percussion) is invited to join the Band.
We are currently in need of mallet, tuba, trumpet, and trombone
players. Check out our concert
schedule and the music
we play. If you would like to join us, please fill out
a membership
request form and the director will get back to you with
the rehearsal schedule.
Thanks to our friends at IBM, we are on
our way to replacing our poor set of 4 timpani. A lot of our
music calls for wonderful timpani accompaniment, and as we
travel quite a bit, our current set has been banged around
so they are becoming out of tune and hard to move. Please
consider making a donation to our timpani fund and help us
purchase some much needed equipment!
